FIX THE SHOT.
KEEP THE
FIX.

A shooting coach who still shoots for a living. Lou Dunbar II rebuilds the parts of your shot that break under pressure, then drills them until they hold up in a game.

The Method

FEET, BASE,
ELBOW, RELEASE

Every shooting session starts with Lou watching your player shoot, from the first rep, before anything gets changed. He looks for the same handful of leaks he sees in almost every young shooter: a narrow or crooked base, the guide hand pushing, the elbow drifting out, a release that changes speed when the shot matters. Then the session works one leak at a time.

Form shooting close to the rim rebuilds the pattern. Footwork drills put the pattern on the move. Game-speed catch-and-shoot, off the dribble and off screens make sure it holds when a defender is closing out. The last stretch is always live, because a shot that only works in an empty gym is not fixed yet.

Who It Helps

STREAKY TO
STEADY

This is for the player who can make ten in a row in the driveway and then goes 1 for 8 on Saturday. For the point guard whose defender goes under every screen because nobody respects the pull-up. For the post player who wants a face-up jumper before high school. And for the high school shooter whose coach keeps saying "same shot every time" without showing how.

Lou hit 11 threes in one game at Oklahoma City University, a school record that still stands, and now plays for the Harlem Globetrotters, where the shot has to fall in front of a crowd every night. The drills are the ones he uses himself.

Questions Families Ask

BEFORE YOU
BOOK

How many sessions does it take to fix a shot?

Most players see a cleaner, more repeatable shot within 6 sessions, which is why the 6-session package at $500 is the most common starting point. Real range and consistency under pressure usually take a full offseason.

Do you work with older players?

Yes. Lou trains high school, college and pro players in the offseason. The mechanics work is the same, the speed and reads are turned up.

Where are shooting sessions held?

The Hive Sports Complex, 14414 N Lincoln Blvd #100, Edmond, OK 73013, serving the whole Oklahoma City metro.

How much does a shooting coach cost?

A single 1-on-1 session with Lou is $120. Six sessions are $500 and twelve are $850. Packages are good for 6 months.
